ANCOL ECOPARK 2.0

Image
Been actively blogging these past few days. Yeah, I'm trying my best to write as much while the memory is still fresh in my mind, and before the photos start pilling up on my hard drive. =D It's been three days of no water in my apartment and yet it was hardly noticeable the effort extended by the owner of the apartment. So frustrated and madly disappointed to them. Hopefully, it will be back to normal by Monday. So we opted to go to Ecopark early morning of Saturday to try their free shower and at the same time to have some workout routine. To my surprised their shower room are so awesomely clean and well - maintained. Use of shower room and toilet is free. Me and my friend only paid 15,000 rupiahs for the locker where we could put our belongings while taking a bath. Wow, feel blessed! Shower Room, Ancol Ecopark After three laps of non-stop jogging around the park, bad mood made good with these amazing views of the park. So lovely and gorgeous! At the end of th

Hi guys! Am back with another fresh post for you all, and was hoping to share some thoughts on school programs and activities that happened in my workplace this time. For those who've been following my travel posts, you'd have figured that I'd never share any of those activities since then. I guess they are also worth remembering as how I treasure all my travel experiences. Grabbed these picture of Paskibra team from Ms. Marilou Sergote' album (thanks sis)! Every year, my workplace kicks off with a whole-day celebration in solemn ceremonies in commemoration of their 69th Independence Day here in Indonesia held every 17th of August. The events started off with a flag raising ceremony lead by our energetic Paskibra team of selected Senior students. I have joined this institution since 2009 and I can say the BIG improvement on them. Kudos to all the Paskibra team and to their trainors! Really appreciated your dedications, discipline and hardworks during your prac

SUNDAY MORNING: ANCOL ECOPARK

Image
This would be my first visit to Ancol Ecopark after so many failed attempts. Recently I haven't had the luxury time to join my friend Vika and others going here but now I made it!. Although it was a bit cloudy when we left our place but the sky was soon became crystal clear. The weather was considerably warm with bright and sunny sky. Supposed to be, me and my other pals had planned to do a thorough workout today but we ended up strolling and taking photos under the bright sunny weather. =D The background was so captivating, who does not love taking photos anyway? Hehehe In 2011, Ancol Ecopark was officially opened with four remarkable zones to visit by, Eco Energy, Eco Care, Eco Nature and Eco Art. Great place to spot different kinds of animals and plants. It desires to raise awareness and include environment - centric civic coexistence for the citizens to enjoy green life out of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta city. Having a pretty damn awesome Sunday here at Ec

LET'S TALK FITNESS: MORNING STRETCHES AT MONAS PARK

Image
Heya! Hope you all are having a great weekend. Instead of hitting the snooze button in the morning, me and my other friends, up and bright early at Monas for Sunday exercise. It was a peculiar idea of my lovely friend, Vika, whom I don't really expect to be a "fitness person".... :D (peace to you my friend). But I can say, she was of the serious kind. She even bought her new pair of shoes just for this exercise and started her week with a bitter gourd smoothies for her everyday juice. Hmmmm...two thumbs up for you my friend. Keep up that spirit! So we head off to Monas and it took us for only fifteen minutes to reach the place by taxi. Thanks God, it was a car free day! That's the good thing that happens always in Jakarta every Sunday....no traffic at all. We started off with some stretching exercises and a short walk around the park....there we get some pretty good view of the Monas with the gleams of sunlight in the background. We took a quick fifteen

ALIEN 3D EXPERIENCE

Image
Hi guys, how you doin' this past few days? It was a two weeks long holiday, and I hope your holiday got off to a great start :) Well, you've got to enjoy every single minute of it, because right after this long hiatus...we'll be facing a long to-do lists of school works not to mention the Cambridge exams soon on October. Huh! Anyway, luckily I was invited by my friend, Geraldine, to pay a visit to their house in Bekasi, West Java Indonesia. It was a smooth almost one hour ride from Jakarta. We headed down to the Summarecon Mall Bekasi before going to their place. Going around, one section of the mall that gripped my attention was their 3D shows entitled "Alien on Earth". And I asked my friend, "Do aliens really exist?". Both of us have the same answer "Maybe". So to cut the story short, we bought our ticket to unravelled this alien's mysterious life on Earth. It was actually the masterpiece of Denny Darko, one of the famous In
