Touring Around Bogor

Image
Happy Sunday, peeps! It feels so awesome to eventually get to write up a blog post in the most peaceful and relaxing evening. A few days ago our school stumbled out of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta and into a quiet, beautiful, greenery lush and refreshing morning in Bogor, West Java for another inspiration field trip. We always like incorporating a bit of history into our field trips, so this field trip starts off with a visit to the Bogor Presidential Palace, the largest of the six presidential palace in Indonesia. Bogor Presidential Palace, known as Istana Bogor Istana Bogor is more than just a palatial building. It also played the vital part in the heritage of Indonesia and holds many political and international meetings such as the APEC Summit last 1994. Sadly, for security reasons, we're not lucky to take a closer look inside since it was currently serves as the residence of the Indonesian President. No chance to get in, unfortunately. Keeping the historical theme goi...

Randomness in My Life

Image
I'm back! Work has been keeping me busy, as usual and always. But here is the quick update from me. Happy to say that my husband was here for a vacation till December. (Gosh, love is in the air!!!) It's been amazing 10 years to marked in our calendar. We're far apart from each other, but distance doesn't count if there is love in between. It was the faith that brought us together. Inspite of having no children of our own..... we are blessed in so many ways and we are happy together. We do believe that Yahweh, our Almighty God, is really amazing and will open the doorways for us soon in His right timing. #decadesmore #fingerscrossed Instead of going for a routine of window shopping at Central Park, (the mall near the apartment), we brought ourselves to the Eco Park in Ancol for a sight seeing and photo - shooting experience. I supposed it would be nice strolling and shooting under the bright sunny weather and it indeed was! With Ms. Vika and Mr. Buwang happy...

ANCOL ECOPARK 2.0

Image
Been actively blogging these past few days. Yeah, I'm trying my best to write as much while the memory is still fresh in my mind, and before the photos start pilling up on my hard drive. =D It's been three days of no water in my apartment and yet it was hardly noticeable the effort extended by the owner of the apartment. So frustrated and madly disappointed to them. Hopefully, it will be back to normal by Monday. So we opted to go to Ecopark early morning of Saturday to try their free shower and at the same time to have some workout routine. To my surprised their shower room are so awesomely clean and well - maintained. Use of shower room and toilet is free. Me and my friend only paid 15,000 rupiahs for the locker where we could put our belongings while taking a bath. Wow, feel blessed! Shower Room, Ancol Ecopark After three laps of non-stop jogging around the park, bad mood made good with these amazing views of the park. So lovely and gorgeous! At the end of th...

SUNDAY MORNING: ANCOL ECOPARK

Image
This would be my first visit to Ancol Ecopark after so many failed attempts. Recently I haven't had the luxury time to join my friend Vika and others going here but now I made it!. Although it was a bit cloudy when we left our place but the sky was soon became crystal clear. The weather was considerably warm with bright and sunny sky. Supposed to be, me and my other pals had planned to do a thorough workout today but we ended up strolling and taking photos under the bright sunny weather. =D The background was so captivating, who does not love taking photos anyway? Hehehe In 2011, Ancol Ecopark was officially opened with four remarkable zones to visit by, Eco Energy, Eco Care, Eco Nature and Eco Art. Great place to spot different kinds of animals and plants. It desires to raise awareness and include environment - centric civic coexistence for the citizens to enjoy green life out of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta city. Having a pretty damn awesome Sunday here at Ec...

Image
It was a grueling 3 - hour ride from Bangkok to Pattaya, my butt was already complaining for sitting down that long but it all disappear after seeing this largest collections of flower and fauna that are meticulously arranged into a great and stunning landscape. It took my breath away! I couldn't help but be inspired when surrounded with such beauty. Nong Nooch garden was only a half - hour ride away from Pattaya beach, a vast area showcasing individually themed parks. It was nevertheless a tranquil - friendly botanical garden that I highly recommend you guys to put into your toplists to visit in Thailand. It doesn't rest only on its botanical offerings, but there are much more to try with....one of it is their spectacular Thai cultural perfomances, an excellent introduction to Thailand's history and culture. Thai Classical Dances Thai Ancient Sword Fights And to top the day off, we feasted our eyes to their Thai cultural icon, the elephant show. It was real...
