Sipping on a cup of coffee N'yumba Lungo of Nescafe Dolce Gusto as I'm writing this post in my apartment. One word - It's MASARAP! Intense flavours and with a citrus kick at the end. Not a coffee lover but it's the only coffee drink I enjoy the most so far.
Here comes the full - day guided Cirebon tour which I had been yearning for :D to unwind and had a taste of their local foods =p. First stop of our tour was in Keraton Kasepuhan located in the sub - district of Lemahwungkuk, Cirebon City. it was a great experience to be able to visit the facilities once utilized by the royal family in Cirebon, despite the blazing hot sun that cost us so much sweat and strength.
Keraton Kasepuhan Entrance right behind me
Hindu - styled split gate named Gapura Adi. Looks like I'm in Bali :D
Pakungwati Palace, named after the daughter of Prince Cakrabuwana (the sultanate first ruler) built in 1446.
Kereta Kencana Singa Barong. An old carriage influenced with artistic elements of Hindu culture having a winged horse - shaped body, a trunk of an elephant, a mouth like Garuda and two Naga dragons.
Simply adore this place..very mystical!
Goa Sunyaragi for our second stop. A memorial cave built by the sultans in Cirebon (1703) as a water palace for meditation and for some military training of Kasepuhan palace . Its name derives from the Javanese language, "sunyi raga" which means peace or silence.

Date of Exploration: 6-8 January 2015 Back from holiday....back to reality. Our 3D2N trip in Pulau Seribu was indeed very fun and relaxing. Pulau Seribu, or commonly known as Thousand Islands was located at the northern part of Jakarta's coast. I do in fact miss the sun and the beach so much!!! A few days ago, I visited few of the major islets in Pulau Seribu with my colleagues. These are the Harapan, Bira, Perak, and Gosong islands. The Muara Angke Pier. Despite the 90 minutes bumpy long drive from Muara Angke pier to Pulau Harapan (our first stop and where our villa is located), we are absolutely rewarded with the majestic views of the Java Sea which tooks us taking lots of pictures with our photographers onboard, Ms. Marilou and Ms. Mona. Too many photos to edit, so I created a collage out of it. Let them load! ;) It's time for us teachers to unwind and refresh ourselves before going back to our routines....and be attuned with nature..... Pulau Bira, onc...
I rarely get to spend quality one-on-one time with my mom because of my busy schedules and an ocean away from her since I'm working abroad, but we managed to take time off for a much needed mother-daughter bonding time recently at Manleluag Spring National Park, Mangatarem Pangasinan. Two swimming pools of this protected landscape are filled with warm, mountain water that was really soothing to the nerves and soul. So I think Mom would love it! Happy to see her smile that day with all the gorgeous snaps ;) Look Up style according to Mom. :D :D :D We were both really refreshed and rejuvenated after the short dip at the pool, and so glad for the precious time there together! Gonna make it a point to bring her back more often ;) Afterwhich, because we were really close by, we decided to drop by to my mother - in - law's place for a quick snacks and to witnessed the birthday celebration of my husband's niece. Party!!! Party!!! Party!!!
On our way out to the Singapore Botanical Garden, attractions never ends. The views are very amazing which made us to take more photos before it rain. Girl on a Bicycle Girl on a Swing, sculptured by Sydney Harpley, R.A The exuberant "Swing Me Mama" The Swiss Granite Fountain There are more delighted artworks but it seems the rain can't no longer wait for us and so we spent the hours back again in the Botany Centre while waiting for the rain to stop.
