Magical Journey at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort

Finally reached the main entrance to Disneyland Resort! so excited!

Dreams come true maybe for most of the visitors in Disney including me. Since childhood I just watched Mickey and Minnie and other Disney characters in television but at this time as if I have escaped from the real world and make my dreams come true.

Can't resist to touch Mickey for the first time...hehehe :D

The views are totally amazing and made us take more than a 100 pictures... While we are busy taking pictures, my mom found herself sitting pretty on one of the bench nearby the entrance. She's so tired I guess, after our long journey from Tsim Sha Tsui to Central. But despite of that, excitement and joy was clearly obvious on her face.

Near to the main entrance was the big whale fountain with Mickey surfing above it.

The main gate where you can buy your Disney ticket. It was not high season when we went there but the crowds is inevitable sometimes. We're blessed because we don't need to follow the long snaking queues at the gate. Thanks to our guesthouse (Golden Crown Guest House) which offered us discounted tickets! What a feeling!

Little rain showers welcomed us when we arrived in Disney so we find a shelter first before we enter to this wonderland.

Most of the rides in Disney are intended for children and maybe for young adults. Due to the bad weather some of the rides are cancelled. Indoor shows become the substitutes. Our eyes were keep glued on its amazing show named Festival of the Lion King. Adapted from Disney's animated classic 'The Lion King', this colorful pageant of music and dance is just like a classic music drama because of its consummate performers, costumes and exotic scenery. It was really a great show, a must - see of all ages. Sad to say I don't have the chance to take good photos here, it was prohibited. I should bring a video cam if given a chance to visit this place again :)

Thanks God the rain has already stop right after the show. We walked down to the Tarzan Island and tried the Jungle River Cruise which took us into the heart of hidden regions. Hippos, cobras, elephants, orangutans, startling jungle events and the refreshing blasts of water surprised us along the river.

After the ride, we satisfied ourselves with the voluptuous Disney chicken at the Royal Banquet Hall.

Leaving the restaurant contented, we joined Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and many other friends at a dizzying 3-D attraction in Mickey's PhilharMagic while wearing their special magic eyeglasses.

From the Fantasyland, we get on board to the Fantasy train for the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad heading to Tomorrowland.

We're just on time for the Grand Parade which started directly from our location. It was a flights of fantasy parade of Disney Characters featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse; Toy Story characters; Lightning Mcqueen; Cinderella and Tinker Bell.

Following the parade, we got in the stanby queue for Minnie and Mickey.

The magic of Disneyland can never be completed without the Tinker Bell Castle illumination and firework show.
