A Walk Through the Singapore Zoo (Part 5/5)

Let's take a break first at one of the shelters here...
And give you some tips on enjoying the zoo.

1. As the weather in Singapore tends to be hot and humid - year round, do remember to   soothe on some sun block to protect your skin.

 2. Bring enough drinking water with you.Though there are some outlets in the zoo selling bottled drinks if you happen to run out.

3. Make sure you pick up a map as you enter so you won't miss out on the many animal presentations and feeding sessions. There's always something happening at the zoo. Too bad, we went here late in the afternoon so we missed some attractions. So tips for you who's planning to visit Singapore Zoo, allow at least half a day to enjoy what's available, but a full day would be even better. The zoo is open daily from 08:30am to 14:00pm.

4. Take preventive measures while having a walk in the rainforest. Consider bringing some insect repellant to stay away mosquitoes or other insects. But we haven't encounter one, the zoo itself is free of it and it's clean.

5. Taking a leisurely stroll is the ideal way to enjoy everything the zoo has to offer. So wear your best comfortable footwear with you to ensure exploring the park endlessly and not to experience tired feet.

But at this point we were starting to feel exhaustion due to our long walk. And so we decided to hop onto a tram to rest our soles.
Unlimited tram rides costs us 5 SG$. 3 SG$ for children.
So let's hop over to see other attractions.....

The zoo offers unlimited boat rides too. 6 SG$ per ride. So from here you can take in the scenic view of the Seletar Reservoir.

Rainforest Kidsworld
Bring your little ones here for a pony rides, wild animal carousel rides and other fun activities. For sure your kids will enjoy it and have some memorable adventure in this playground situated in a rainforest :)

Along the way, we saw group of girls having fun with elephant ride. Nice one! Elephant ride tickets are available at the elephant ride ticket booth worth 8 SG$. I'll try that on my next visit here :)

We stopped over here in the butterfly area. Unfortunately, we didn't find any butterflies flying around here.
It's getting dark already and the zoo was about to close. And so we started our way out. We happened to passed through the primates kingdom.
I don't know what is the name of those primates. Black monkey maybe hehehe.

Off we go! By the way you can buy your mementos galore near the entrance of the zoo.

Singapore Zoo is such a huge place where a whole day trip  or more is indeed required to allow you to explore the whole place and watch the different animal shows. For sure I will be back here to see more of its attractions someday :)

On my next post, join me in exploring the beauty of the timeless tropical Eden in Singapore Botanical Garden. :)
