Batu Caves

Image
One of the significant religious shrine in Malaysia, done in magnificent natural limestone caves, is undoubtedly Batu Caves. This temple is situated 13 kilometres from the north of the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. It can already be reached by using the newest KMT commuter train running from Sentral Station to Batu Caves for only 1MYR. Around the vicinity was a flock of birds swarming around the place. We just took a quick detour in here using our hotel free shuttle bus. It's not as grandeur as anyone expected but it serves as a treat for us before heading to Twin Towers, also a nearby attraction. While waiting for my other colleagues who wished to go up the caves, me and my husband just managed to stroll and dined - in to different stalls/shops in the area.

Cool Visit to Royal Selangor Pewter Centre

The Malaysian Royal Selangor is justifiably popular - as the world's largest pewter tankard, recognised by the Guinness Book of Records and was been famous for their great pewter designs. Teapots, candle holders, incense burners, and other items used for prayers in temples are some of their main products at that time. Then we walked through the production area where pewter products are be

On this next posts, it narrates about my first experienced in Malaysia though at first it didn't turn out right due to some delays but in the end it was full of fun! Come and join me as I unleashed my Mystifying Malaysian's Experience :) It was the start of the new academic year 2010 - 2011, when my school planned for an out of town 3 day - tour as a yearly treat to their "hardworking and very competitive teachers"...naks! This time is in Malaysia. We are divided into three groups. All expatriates are assigned in the second group with a scheduled flight at 1:00pm, that was an awesome hot flight! But not as hot as this fact that we are asked to report first to school and accompany the students for their half day learning process. Isn't so pretty cool?! :D On our way out to the airport, the traffic is so nightmarish. We're even worried that we'll reach the airport late. But glad to say we weren't but we need to wait for another hour to wait for the plan
