Truly Rewarding Experience at Universal Studios Singapore

Image
The Universal Globe and the USS Entrance Archway For the first few hours upon arrival in Singapore,we started our itinerary the next day to Sentosa Island. Since Universal Studios was recently launched last 18 March 2010, it ranked 1 to our toplist itinerary. Unfortunately, when we get there, the park's ticket had already been sold out for that period. As it was expected, it was a school holiday season so getting tickets for that period was hard. Be warned for those planning to go to Universal Studios, you must buy your tickets in advance to save your time some more. Luckily, I was able to booked our ticket through internet using my Visa Card right on the 25th of December...yay! what a Christmas gift for us!  After all the Construction biddings since 2007, this one - of - its kind theme park in Asia had its soft opening period from 18 March 2010. As part of of a growing and innovative part of the world, this newest theme park showcases a total of 24 attractions and rides which give

Me at the Clarke Quay

Image
Shopping time! We planned to spend the day to buy  our mementos galore in Little India and in Chinatown where you could be able to bargain the price . Just a walking distance from Chinatown, we dropped by first to Clarke Quay. Clarke Quay is one of the Singapore's top nightspots. As a dark blue sky shadows our journey down the riverbanks, let's see how does it look like at daytime. Clarke Quay was named after Sir Andrew Clarke, the second Governor of Singapore and Governor of the Straits Settlements. This place was bustling with trade activity during the 19th Century. And later, the government relocated all activities to Pasir Panjang, and transformed the area into an entertainment, dining district and chill out.   For me, Clarke Quay, is not just about partying the night away. Even at day trip, you can be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the waterfront. I really loved this spot, the Coleman Bridge . This was designed by an Irish architect George Drumgold Coleman (1795 -

Spotted different styles of Christmas tree and decors. The Clock Tower of Singapore, a gift from the Patron Lady Yuen - Peng McNeice, December 1998. Christmas spirit is on the air. Singapore Orchid Garden and the Evolution Garden

Image
Are you an avid orchid lover? Then for sure you'll be delighted to see the blooms in this next posts.....the National Orchid Garden. The National Orchid Garden is a sight to behold showcasing the finest and thousands of orchids.   A unique atmosphere with vibrantly colourful orchids.... We didn't have much time to go around to this place, both of us were hungry and so we find our way out to find some food outlet in the area. I will save more time strolling this garden on my next visit here. The Botanical garden also offers displays designed to enrich and educate the visitors on the evolution from the primitive garden to present time.     We wanted to walk and see more but it's about to rain and so we head back and find our way out.
